Service Pupil Support Programme - there's still time to apply!
There’s still time for schools and local authorities to apply to the Service Pupil Support Programme, funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
The Service Pupil Support Programme provides grants of £5,000 to £150,000 for projects which address the needs of children aged 4-18 in full-time statutory education who are from currently serving armed forces families. This includes pupils whose parents are on full commitment as part of the full-time reserve service.
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is inviting local authorities, and schools to apply with their project ideas by 12 noon on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
Applications must address one of the following themes:
- Closing the gap
Closing the academic gap between service and non-service pupils using data led evidence. - Support for service pupils with SEN/D, ASN, ALN
Address the needs of service pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND), Additional Support Needs (ASN) or Additional Learning Needs (ALN). - Mobility/deployment and separation
Address the impact of mobility/deployment and separation on service pupil’s education. - Low numbers of service pupils
Finding ways to reach and maintain support to service pupils who are in schools that have very low overall numbers of service pupils.
