The New Thriving Lives Toolkit Platform is Now Live

The SCiP Alliance is delighted to announce the launch of the new Thriving Lives Toolkit platform, providing education settings across the UK with an enhanced way to reflect on and strengthen the support they provide for Service children and young people.

Published:

The Thriving Lives Toolkit is an evidence-informed self-review and improvement framework that helps schools, colleges and other providers understand their current provision, identify strengths and areas for development, and plan actions to improve outcomes for children and young people from Armed Forces families.

The newly developed platform has been designed with users in mind, making it easier to navigate, access resources and monitor progress. The enhanced system provides a more intuitive user experience while maintaining the robust framework that has supported hundreds of providers across the UK.

Existing school users have had their accounts and Toolkit information migrated to the new platform and can access their Toolkit by resetting their password and logging in using their existing email address. To support the transition, the SCiP Alliance has produced a range of guidance materials and will be running Getting Started sessions throughout October and November.

The launch marks an important milestone in the continued development of the Thriving Lives Toolkit, with further tailored toolkits in development to support learners across different stages of their educational journey. It reflects the SCiP Alliance's commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-informed support for the education sector.

We would like to thank all our users for their patience and support during the development and migration process. As we continue to refine and enhance the platform, we encourage users to explore the new features and share their feedback with the team.

Hundreds of providers across the UK are already using the Thriving Lives Toolkit to strengthen their support for Service children. We are excited to welcome users to the new platform and look forward to supporting the sector as it continues to improve the educational experiences and outcomes of children and young people from Armed Forces families.
