London Hub Meeting
- Organised by: London SCiP Alliance Hub
- Date: 25th February 2026 from 13:00 to 14:30
- Location: Online
It has been some time since the SCiP London Hub last met, and we hope you have all been well during this period. A great deal has happened since our last meeting, including the continued growth and development of the SCiP Alliance Hub network and the establishment of the SCiP Impact Centre. Due to her involvement in the latter, Prof. Nicola Fear will be stepping aside from the Hub but we are delighted to announce that Dr Anne Chappell and Dr Ellen McHugh from Brunel University will be coming onboard to join founding members Bruce Holborn (RBL) and Dr Rachael Gribble (KCL). As members of the Department of Education at Brunel who also conduct research with young people from Armed Forces families, they are well placed to support the work of the Hub.
Given the lengthy break, we are seeking to re-launch the London Hub and would like to invite you to an online working group to revisit the aims of the Hub, our ways of working, meeting types, how you see the Hub working, and what would ultimately be of benefit to the London attendees. As we often discuss, we are slightly different from the other Hubs in terms of a much more dispersed military population and we want to make sure that the meetings are beneficial and interesting for all and that the Hub is able to sustainable in the long term.
To help us with this relaunch, could you please provide your details and indicate availability for 25th February 2026, 1300-1430 on the included form.
