This webinar, delivered by Dr Liz Spruin and Dr Amanda Carr from ACCESS and the SCiP Alliance, will present findings from Thriving Lives in Higher Education (HE) report, the first UK-wide study exploring the experiences of university students from Armed Forces families. The session will share key findings and practical recommendations to help institutions recognise and support this underrepresented group within the widening access agenda. Using examples and context, the presenters will highlight how universities can embed inclusive practice through leadership, staff awareness, and student voice, drawing on the forthcoming HE Thriving Lives Toolkit developed in partnership with the Naval Children’s Charity and the SCiP Alliance.
