Alison Cotton
Alison Cotton is a final year PhD student at Oxford Brookes University researching the educational attainment and Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities of children from UK Armed Forces (AF) families. Alison is a Service child herself and has a teaching career spanning 23 years. She is a qualified Specialist Teacher with Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) and holds an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). She is also a member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS) and the NHS England Armed Forces Public Patient Voice Group.
