Compassionate teaching for bereaved military children

This session will demonstrate the Education research that Scotty’s has completed with families bereaved of military parents, recommend changes that need to be made and give attendees the opportunity to experience some of the initial teacher training developed by Scotty’s in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University in understanding the needs of bereaved (service) children.
Delegates can expect to expand on their own knowledge of childhood bereavement, develop skills to apply in their own settings and promote the adoption of the training in their localities.
