The SCiP Alliance is inviting inspiring practitioners, researchers, and professionals to step forward and help shape our 2025 Annual Conference by submitting a workshop proposal.

This year’s theme—Whole Person, Whole Journey—is more than a headline. It’s a call to action, a collective commitment, and the foundation of our vision: thriving lives for children and young people from Armed Forces families.

We believe that thriving means recognising and responding to every aspect of a young person’s experience—socially, emotionally, and academically—at every point in their journey. From early years through to adulthood, we aim to support the whole person, through their whole journey.

Share Your Practice, Spark New Thinking

We’re inviting proposals for workshops that showcase real-world practice and evidence-informed approaches. Whether your work is rooted in education, research, the third sector, or policymaking, we want to hear how you’re supporting Service children to thrive—as whole people, across their whole journey.

Each 45-minute workshop should:

🔹 Share a compelling example of your work—a project, intervention, or insight grounded in practice or research
🔹 Demonstrate how your approach supports the whole-person, whole-journey theme, particularly across key stages, transitions, or experiences
🔹 Spark meaningful discussion and reflection with delegates

Workshops will be interactive and practical, balancing your insights with space for shared learning and collaboration.
