Case study examples of emerging, developing and embedding practice in schools

The International Centre for Guidance Studies at the University of Derby carried out an impact evaluation on schools' use of the 7 Thriving Lives principles in 2021. The following case studies have been produced by the research team to help schools to understand examples of emerging, developing and embedding practice in schools.

A Decade of the Covenant: A review of delivery and impact of ten years of the Armed Forces Covenant

A new report has been published by the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) called ‘A Decade of the Covenant’. It’s a review of the delivery and impact of ten years of the Armed Forces Covenant and can be accessed online. Contents of A Decade of the Covenant The report includes several resources for councils and government including an overarching Theory of Change model which sets out how and why the Covenant reduces disadvantage, a basket of indicators to use as a starting point to measure the impact of the Covenant, an updated core infrastructure and toolkit, and case studies of good practice.
