SCiP Alliance London Hub virtual training conference for schools Session 3: the live session

The London Hub's conference on 28th June 2021 explored the Thriving Lives toolkit in action. Watch presentations below about using the toolkit in a school, supporting Service children with SEND, the context for Service children in London and involving governing bodies in support for young people from Armed Forces families. The conference enjoyed a lively panel discussion led by Brunel University London.

The event was organised and chaired by the SCiP Alliance Hubs leads, Professor Nicola Fear from King's College London and Bruce Holborn from The Royal British Legion in collaboration with Brunel University London and MOD London HQ.

Before the conference began, the audience enjoyed a slideshow highlighting the findings of recent research on the experiences of children and young people from Armed Forces families by Brunel University London and by King's College London. Download the slides here.
